PV Module Products by Brand
Trong bàiOn this page
Customers often ask which brand to choose and what notable product lines each brand offers. This document maps the major PV module brands available in Vietnam, with each brand’s current flagship Type-N line and a few representative models, with specifications cross-referenced against official datasheets. The goal is to help consultants quote the correct line name, correct technology, and correct figures when comparing brands, rather than remembering only a single panel.
For: sales staff who need a brand map for customer consultations, technicians selecting brands for system design, and newcomers wanting to know which brands and technologies are available on the market.
This document’s product line names and specifications are current as of mid-2026 and change rapidly with each module generation. Each manufacturer releases a new line almost every year, so always check the latest datasheet for the exact model being sourced before finalising a design or quotation, as the same line name can cover multiple power ranges and multiple frame variants.
Quick Summary
The Vietnamese PV module market in mid-2026 splits into two Type-N technology branches. The mainstream branch is TOPCon, used by most major brands including JA Solar, Jinko, Trina, Canadian Solar, and AE Solar, delivering roughly 22 to 23.5% efficiency at reasonable cost with ample supply. The second branch is back-contact, comprising AIKO’s ABC and LONGi’s HPBC, pushing efficiency up to about 24 to 24.2% and offering a cleaner gridline-free front face, at a higher price premium.
In terms of market positioning, three groups can be identified. The highest-efficiency group consists of AIKO and LONGi with back-contact technology. The mainstream balanced group includes JA, Jinko, Trina, and Canadian Solar with TOPCon, the safe choice for the majority of projects. The high-wattage-per-panel group consists of 132-cell modules such as the AE 730W and Trina 720W, suitable for large-scale systems.
An in-depth comparison of the JA 640W, AIKO 655W, and AE 730W panels was covered in document 02-03. This chapter does not repeat that comparison but extends the brand map to other manufacturers and representative lines, so that when a consultant encounters an unfamiliar line name they can still place it in the right category.
Summary Table: Brands and Flagship Lines
The table below consolidates each brand’s current flagship Type-N line with power range and warranty details cross-referenced against datasheets. This is the quick reference map before diving into each brand.
| Brand | Flagship Line | Technology | Power Range | Efficiency | Product / Performance Warranty |

| LONGi | Hi-MO X10 | HPBC back-contact | 630–650W (72-cell) | up to ~24.1% | 15 / 30 years |
The distinction between TOPCon and back-contact determines both efficiency and temperature coefficient. ABC and HPBC back-contact panels move all electrodes to the rear face so the front face captures light unobstructed, delivering the highest efficiency and a better Pmax temperature coefficient of approximately −0.26%/°C, compared with roughly −0.29%/°C for TOPCon. This small difference accumulates across many hours of intense sun into a real difference in annual energy yield: one technical reason back-contact panels command a higher price.
Mainstream TOPCon Group
JA Solar: DeepBlue 4.0 Pro
JA Solar is one of the brands with the earliest and widest presence in Vietnam. The current flagship line is DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, a dual-glass Type-N TOPCon panel using the cell technology the company calls Bycium+. This line balances stable efficiency, low degradation, and competitive pricing, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. High-Efficiency Back-Contact Group
AIKO: ABC, Neostar and Comet Lines
AIKO leads in full back-contact ABC technology, where all electrodes are placed on the rear face, delivering the highest efficiency in the group and a gridline-free front face with superior aesthetics. AIKO divides its lines by application. Neostar is the residential small-format line for row-house and villa rooftops, prioritising efficiency and visual appeal. Comet is the larger 72-cell commercial line, with the representative model AIKO-A-MAH72Mw reaching 620W. Document 02-03 also compared the AIKO-A-GRH66Dw 655W model.
| Specification | AIKO-A-MAH72Mw 620W (Comet) |
|---|---|
| Technology | ABC back-contact, 72-cell |
| Pmax | 620W (range 600–620W) |
| Efficiency | 23.5% (2323×1134×33mm, 27.7 kg) |
| Voc | 54.39V |
| Vmp | 45.08V |
| Isc | 14.52A |
| Imp | 13.76A |
| Temperature coefficient (Pmax) | −0.26%/°C |
| First-year degradation | ≤1% |
| Subsequent annual degradation | approximately 0.35% |
| Product / performance warranty | 15 / 30 years |
Note that the Pmax temperature coefficient of −0.26%/°C for AIKO is better than TOPCon, consistent with the general characteristic of back-contact technology. The Comet 620W operating current is moderate, making it easier to pair with inverters than the high-current 132-cell panels.
LONGi: Hi-MO X10, HPBC Back-Contact
LONGi is a major cell and module manufacturer; the current flagship line is Hi-MO X10 using HPBC back-contact cells. This is the direct competitor to AIKO in the highest-efficiency segment. The representative 72-cell model is the LR7-72HVH in the Explorer series, ranging from 630 to 650W in dual-glass format.

When a customer asks which brand to choose, do not compare purely on single-panel wattage. Start by asking about priorities. If the customer prioritises the highest efficiency and aesthetics on a space-constrained roof, guide them toward AIKO or LONGi back-contact. If the customer wants a balance of efficiency, reliability, and price, the TOPCon group (JA, Jinko, Trina, Canadian Solar) is the safe choice. If the customer is building a large-scale system and needs high wattage per panel to minimise panel count, the 132-cell group such as AE 730W and Trina 720W is appropriate, but always flag that the high operating current of these panels requires checking the inverter’s MPPT current limit. Always quote the correct line name so the right datasheet can be pulled, because the same line name covers multiple power ranges.
