Solis (Ginlong)

Introduction

Solis is the product brand of Ginlong Technologies, a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2017. The standout feature of the S6 hybrid series is its 200% overload capacity for 10 seconds in off-grid mode, which is highly practical when starting pumps, air compressors, or inverter air conditioners (loads whose startup current can be many times higher than their rated current).

History & Scale

Ginlong Technologies was founded in 2005 in Ningbo, initially focusing on grid-tied inverters. The company expanded into hybrid inverters with the S5/S6 generation and went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2017 (ticker: 300763.SZ). Solis now exports to more than 100 countries and has an established distribution network in Vietnam.

Core Technology

The S6 series comes in two parallel variants: the L version (Low Voltage), which pairs with 48V batteries, and the H version (High Voltage), which pairs with high-voltage batteries such as the BYD HVL. This allows flexible integration: customers can choose an open 48V system or a high-voltage system depending on budget and requirements. The 200% overload capability in off-grid mode is a rare specification in the mid-range segment.

Product Lineup

• S6-EH1P L version (1-phase, 3–10 kW): the widest power range in the single-phase segment, with MPPT input current up to 21 A.
• S6-EH3P L version (3-phase, 8–15 kW): for larger households and small commercial sites, with unbalanced load support.
• H version (high voltage): compatible with HV batteries in both single-phase and three-phase families. Always confirm whether the L or H version is required before pairing with a battery.

Positioning in Vietnam

Solis is well suited for customers who need a wide power range (especially single-phase up to 10 kW) and want strong overload performance during off-grid operation. Compared to Deye in the same segment, Solis has an advantage in terms of higher power capacity on the single-phase line.
