Introduction
GoodWe is a Chinese inverter manufacturer listed on the Shanghai STAR Market since 2020, positioned in the mid-to-premium segment. Its EH and ET hybrid lines stand out for their very fast backup switching speed (under 10 ms on the single-phase EH series, on par with a UPS) and a fanless natural cooling design that improves durability in dusty environments.
History & Scale
Founded in 2010 in Suzhou, Jiangsu, GoodWe grew rapidly in the residential and commercial inverter segment. It was listed on the Shanghai STAR Market in 2020 (ticker 688390.SS) and is now present in over 100 countries, ranked among the global Top 10 inverter manufacturers.
Core Technology
GoodWe offers two parallel hybrid families serving different needs. The EH family (single-phase, high voltage) uses the Lynx Home F battery (stackable LFP modules of ~3.27 kWh each, requiring a minimum of 2 modules to reach the required voltage) with a fanless natural cooling design and near-instantaneous backup switching. The ET LV family (three-phase, 48V) is more flexible, offering 2–4 MPPTs and a wide power range of 5–20 kW, supporting 48V batteries from multiple brands. Monitoring via the SEMS Portal provides consumption analytics and automated reporting.

- GoodWe ET LV (three-phase, 5–20 kW): villas and commercial applications, 2–4 MPPTs, flexible 48V battery support.
- GoodWe ET HV (three-phase, high voltage): an upgraded variant with high-voltage battery, suited for synchronized systems.
Positioning in Vietnam
GoodWe is well suited to residential customers who need fast backup switching (especially households with equipment sensitive to power outages) and want durable, low-maintenance hardware thanks to the fanless design. The three-phase ET LV line competes effectively with Deye in the heavy-load segment where flexible 48V battery compatibility is a priority.
Sales note
The Lynx Home F battery requires a minimum of 2 modules (≥6.54 kWh) to reach the voltage range required by the EH inverter: a single module cannot be installed. When advising on the ET LV, remind customers that 2–4 MPPTs allow more efficient combination of multiple roof orientations compared to lines with only 2 MPPTs.
