Pytes Inverter Compatibility Lookup

Dành cho:For: commissioning engineers matching Pytes batteries to inverters, sales staff checking compatibility before quoting, technicians setting DIP switches during installation.
Trong bàiOn this page

When pairing a Pytes battery with an inverter, two things must match: the DIP switch code (selects the inverter brand) and the communication protocol (CAN or RS485). This is the full lookup table from the official Pytes Inverter Compatibility List v3.6 (updated 2025-12-09): every compatible inverter brand for the low-voltage, high-voltage and 12V battery lines, with each brand’s DIP code and protocol. The DIP-switch procedure, communication-cable pinout and power-up sequence are covered in 03-08; this chapter is purely the field lookup table.

For: commissioning engineers matching Pytes batteries to inverters, sales staff checking compatibility before quoting, technicians setting DIP switches during installation.

Currency note

The list changes over time as Pytes adds brands or updates firmware. Always check the latest Pytes compatibility list before committing; figures below are fixed to v3.6 (2025-12-09). If a customer picks an inverter not on the list, Pytes may add it after testing — contact ess_support@pytesgroup.com.

How to read the table

  • The DIP code is 6-bit, set on the Master battery; if the system exceeds 16 batteries (uses a Hub), the inverter-brand code goes on the Hub instead, and the DIP on each Master battery switches to selecting a group address. Details in 03-08.
  • The protocol decides the communication cable run from battery/Hub to inverter: CAN or RS485 (some brands support both). The RS485 wiring rule is A-to-A, B-to-B.
  • Set the DIP before powering on the battery — changing it after power-on can stop the battery from recognizing the inverter.
  • Inverter brand map for the Vietnam market: see 04-09.

Low Voltage batteries — 32 brands

Applies to the entire low-voltage line: E-BOX 4850, E-BOX 48100C, E-BOX 48100R, V5°/V5°α, V10α/V12, V15 and PiLV1 — every brand below is compatible (√) with all of these, so the per-model columns are collapsed into one note. Most use CAN; the five RS485 brands are Anern, EPEVER, Phocos, Studer and Voltronic.

High Voltage batteries

The two high-voltage lines are HV48100 and HV4850. Unlike low voltage, support is uneven: the first seven brands work with both lines, the rest currently support HV48100 only.

12V battery

The E-BOX 12100 (12V) line currently pairs with one certified inverter:

Lookup notes

  • Some brand names are easy to mishear during training: “Broad” is actually Growatt (code 001000); the names “VoMiles” and “Oxo” are not on the list.
  • RS485 brands (Anern, EPEVER, Phocos, Studer, Voltronic on low voltage; Voltronic on high voltage) must be wired per the RS485-A/B pinout, not with a CAN cable.
  • Deye and Growatt support both CAN and RS485 on the low-voltage line — pick one protocol and keep both ends consistent.
  • Duplicate DIP codes across brands are normal (e.g. Solis and Pytes both use 010100): the DIP code rides with that brand’s firmware/protocol, so you must still select the correct brand when configuring, not just match the code.
