Introduction

Felicity Solar (Guangzhou Felicity Solar Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in 2007 in Guangzhou as an integrated solar energy solutions provider, spanning inverters, batteries, solar panels, and charge controllers. The brand is best known in the African market (Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon, and others) before expanding into Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. The FLA series batteries are its mainstream low-voltage LiFePO4 stackable batteries designed for residential systems.

History & Scale

Just one year after its founding, Felicity had its own factory and began manufacturing batteries, inverters, and charge controllers from 2009. The company opened its first branch in Nigeria and quickly spread across the African continent. Today Felicity operates more than 30 offices worldwide, maintains an R&D team of over 200 engineers, and serves mid-to-high-end markets in Europe, the USA, and Australia. Its fully integrated product chain (from generation to storage) is a key advantage when offering turnkey system consultations.

Core Technology

The FLA series uses LiFePO4 cells in a low-voltage cabinet/rack form factor at 51.2 V. A standout feature is the built-in WiFi and Bluetooth BMS, enabling real-time monitoring via app without requiring an additional gateway. RS485 and CAN communication interfaces ensure compatibility with the vast majority of mainstream hybrid inverters. With ≥6,000 cycles at 80% DoD and the ability to expand up to 15 units in parallel (~150 kWh), the series serves both residential and small commercial applications.

Product Lineup

FLA48100 (5 kWh, 100 Ah) and FLA48200 (10 kWh, 200 Ah) are the two flagship models, both at low voltage 51.2 V. The FLA48200 supports parallel expansion up to 15 units (~150 kWh). Felicity also offers the FLA48314-EU (16 kWh) for the European market with more than 8,000 cycles; however, this specification had not been independently confirmed through an official datasheet at the time of writing.

Positioning in Vietnam

Felicity Solar is available in Vietnam through import channels, making it well-suited for single-phase residential projects requiring affordable low-voltage stackable batteries. The built-in WiFi BMS is a genuine advantage for customers who want remote monitoring without incurring additional equipment costs. The brand fits the mid-range segment seeking a manufacturer with a proven track record, without necessarily requiring a top-tier name such as Pylontech.
